History Makers is a collection of case studies of people
who have made their mark. We have selected sub-iconic people who have
played important roles, but are often overlooked.
The 211-page book has been laid out to make it easy to photocopy
individual pages to hand out to students. You are welcome to do so.
This book is intended to be used! Often, people have a difficult time
picking topics for research, presentations, and papers. This book is
a springboard for them. The two-page case studies are designed to
provide the background of the person, the conflict or issue in which
they were involved, the resolution or action that they took, and the
historical impact of their contributions. Each case study ends with a
brief resource list to direct you towards more information.
We want this to be a well-used product. We have selected 100
individuals who encompass a diverse range of nationalities,
ethnicities, backgrounds, and areas of speciality. We are certain
that every student will find someone to spark their interest.
